The Marshall County High School will host it's 3rd annual Chalk Walk on April 29, from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Marshall County High School. The MCHS chapter will provide refreshments during the walk for all participants. Official walk times are 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30, but individuals may begin walking at any time after check-in.
What is a Chalk Walk?
The Chalk Walk serves several purposes, including
- A chance to walk in honor or memory of a great teacher(s) that most impacted you.
- Raising scholarship money for students who plan to become teachers.
- Fellowship with other students, playing games, and eating.
The MCHS FEA will give $50.00 to the club with the most walkers participate, to the club whick collects the most money for our scholarship fund, and to the individual who collects the most money for our scholarship fund. The awards will be announced at school on May 2.
