2024 District Governor’s Cup Highlights
Team Events:
Quick Recall Team: District Runners-up
Participating–Boston English, Brayden Conner, Dustin Sanders, Maverick Simmons, & Meia Hofer
Future Problem Solving Team: District Runners-up
Participating–Anastasiia Lisovska, Boston English, Brayden Conner, & Maverick Simmons
This was the first time MCHS has fielded an FPS team in several years and
the first time these students have competed in this event.
Individual Events:
Dustin Sanders, 3rd in Mathematics AND 5th in Science
Gracie Egner, 4th in Arts & Humanities AND 5th in Composition
Brayden Conner, 4th in Composition
Meia Hofer, 5th in Language Arts
Marshall County’s team was also awarded the Hume Sportsmanship Award, which was voted on by the coaches of all the participating schools.
Both teams (Quick Recall and Future Problem Solving) are advancing to Regionals the week of February 12th!
Four students are advancing to Regionals in five different individual events!
