It was a very successful start to the Marshall County Schools Summer Feeding Program!
District staff and volunteers helped serve 8,939 breakfasts and lunches, totaling 17, 878 meals served on the program's first day Thursday. Those meals, combined with food service for summer school and football, totaled over 18,000 meals served this week.
Meals are provided free of charge for any person 18 years of age or younger and will be served every Thursday through the month of June.
Special thanks to the MCHS football team for helping load the meals onto buses for distribution throughout our community.
