Central Elementary School teacher Bridget Powell recently completed her GoTeachKY Ambassador year with the Kentucky Department of Education.
The Kentucky Department of Education hosted a special End of Year Luncheon on June 14 to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the GoTeachKY Ambassadors. These passionate individuals, one of which is Marshall County's Bridget Powell, have played a critical role in promoting the teaching profession throughout the state, contributing
significantly to the recruitment, development and retention of educators in Kentucky.
Throughout the year, the GoTeachKY Ambassadors have been on the front lines, advocating for the teaching profession and inspiring future educators. Their efforts have been instrumental in addressing the educator shortage, supporting professional development, and ensuring that Kentucky classrooms are filled with highly qualified and passionate teachers.
