Marshall County teachers, along with teachers from across the region, participated in a day of learning engaging teaching strategies this week.
Marcia Tate, author of Engage the Brain: 20 Unforgettable Strategies for Growing Dendrites and Accelerating Learning, presented to a large crowd of excited educators at the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center on Monday, July 29. Teachers walked away with twenty ready-to-use strategies that are scientifically proven to engage the brain and increase learning.
The Western Kentucky Educational Cooperative sponsored the event for teachers in our district as well as in the surrounding areas.
