It’s never too early to be thinking about the future.
Students at Benton Elementary learned about jobs in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) during a career fair in the gym today.
Students were told to be aware of all the "awesome things you can be when you grow up." They were encouraged to ask the professionals questions about their jobs, including what's the best part of their job, what's the hardest part of it, and even how much money someone in that career will make.
Nearly 20 businesses were represented at the career fair. We want to thank these professionals for taking time out of their busy day to show the kids all the great jobs available in the STEM industry.
