Alumni Hall of Fame

The Marshall County School District is again accepting nominations for candidates to be inducted into the Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame.

The MCHS Class of 1985 started the Hall of Fame as a way to honor alumni who have demonstrated significant achievements in their chosen profession or in the field of art, civics, politics, or industry. The Hall of Fame's Inaugural class was inducted in 2021.

The program was inactive for the next few years, but it is restarting and a new Hall of Fame class will be announced in early December. Applications will be accepted through Friday, December 6th. A committee will review the applications and will select the inductees the following week. The Class of 2024 will be announced at that time.

During an appearance on WCBL's Coffee Call earlier today, Marshall County School Superintendent Bill Thorpe said "we have some great people who have done lots of great things and they need to be recognized."
