The Marshall County Preschool/Head Start/Early Head Start Program is now enrolling students for the 2025-2026 school year. Preschool applicants must be a Marshall County resident and age 3 or 4 on or by August 1, 2025. Eligibility is based upon federal income guidelines or documented disability, regardless of income.
Marshall County Child Find Developmental Screenings are available to Marshall County residents with concerns about a child’s development and all families registering for the Marshall County Preschool/Head Start Program. Developmental screenings will be held by appointment only on March 28, 2025 at the Marshall County Library. Appointments may be made by calling (270) 527-6757.
Early Head Start is a home-based option for pregnant moms and children through the age of 3. It provides development education and family support. Families must meet income guidelines to qualify.

Once the online application has been submitted, office staff will contact you to schedule an in-person appointment to complete the remainder of the enrollment application and to schedule a screening appointment for your child.
