Students at Benton Elementary who completed the March Reading Challenge were rewarded with a March Madness Assembly today, featuring members of the MCHS boys and girls basketball teams.
Some students were able to shoot a few hoops with the players. They also watched the high schoolers compete in a little friendly competition of free throw and three point shooting accuracy and a short 4 on 4 scrimmage.
A great way to celebrate accomplishments in reading!!
