The Marshall County Honor Choir performed Thursday night inside the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center at Marshall County High School.
The Honor Choir includes students from Benton, Calvert City, Central, Jonathan, Sharpe, and South Marshall Elementary schools, along with North Marshall Middle School's choir.
These choirs only had about 3 hours of combined rehearsal time, and it was a blast! Many students said they loved the social and community aspect of singing. Other students shared about their passion for singing.
This concert was a display of the importance of music education in our schools, and we'd like to thank our music teachers for all their hard work in making this event possible!
