All instructional areas in the newly renovated Marshall County Technical Center should be ready to use when when the new school year begins in August.
Members of the Marshall County Board of Education were updated on the project during a tour of the construction site yesterday, prior to the April board meeting.
District Project Manager Danny Davis says the $13 million dollar addition and renovation project is about two-thirds complete, with most of the work being concentrated in those instructional areas right now. Davis says some finishing touches in other parts of the building will still be ongoing after school starts in August.
Once complete, about 17,000 square feet will have been added to the Tech Center, giving it a total of 52,000 square feet.
