GSA Program

Administrators from Marshall County School District visited the Kentucky Governor's Scholars Program on the campus of Murray State University.  This competitive and prestigious five-week program gathers together the top rising seniors in the state for an intensive intellectual and networking experience.

A total of eight Marshals are attending the program this summer, with three on the Murray State campus (other campuses are at Centre College and Morehead State University).

Superintendent Bill Thorpe, Assistant Superintendent Chris Mason, Supervisor of Instruction Jackie Reid, and MCHS principal Shannon Solomon observed a class on campus and then had lunch at Winslow Cafeteria with the three scholars: Kiefer Siress, Jessica (JC) Wells, and Anastasiia Lisovska.
