MCHS Senior Baily Allred has signed with Bellarmine University in Louisville to participate in track and field. Bailey has been a 4-year member of the Marshall County track and field program and has been an integral part of the Lady Marshals' success in the shot put and discus over the course of those four seasons. Bailey is a multiple-time All-Area award winner in the shot and discus. The All-Area awards represent the best competitors in the entire Jackson Purchase region regardless of class. To top that off, she is also one of the top competitors in the state in the weight throw and the hammer throw, both of which she has primarily competed in independently during winter and summer events with AAU and USATF. Baily is currently ranked in the top 5 in all of her events in Class AAA. Bailey has exhibited an extraordinary work ethic in all aspects of being a student-athlete and we are excited that Bailey will have the opportunity to continue her track career at Bellarmine University.
